Begrüßung der Erstsemestrigen
Am Montag, 22.09.2025 wird die offizielle Begrüßung durch Rektorat und Vorsitzteam der ÖH BOKU stattfinden und die erste Woche an der BOKU eingeläutet.

Achtung : Die Begrüßung für Agrarwissenschaften (AW) findet um 12:00 im Hörsaal HS03 im Wilhelm-Exner-Haus
Nach der Begrüßung…
Lerne deine neuen Studienkolleg*innen kennen und komme zum Erstsemestrigentutorium der ÖH BOKU. Eine spannende Woche voller Campusführungen, Exkursionen, Events und Insider-Tipps warten auf dich und ermöglichen dir einen gelungenen Start in das Leben an der BOKU! Wir empfehlen also, sich die ganze Woche für das EST möglichst freizuhalten (22.-26.09.).
Melde dich dafür in den zugehörigen Online-Kurs an:
- Agrarwissenschaften
- Forstwirtschaft & Holz- und Naturfasertechnologie
- Landschaftsplanung und Landschaftsarchitektur
- Lebensmittel- und Biotechnologie
- Umweltingenieurwissenschaften
- Umwelt- und Bioressourcenmanagement
Solltest du deinen Studiengang nicht finden kannst du hier nachsehen, welche Studienvertretung dein Studium vertritt. Wie man sich in die Online-Kurse anmeldet, schildern wir ausführlich im Mail an dich!
Brot und Wein – das muss sein.
Lass deinen ersten Tag an der BOKU mit Brot und Wein ausklingen und nütze die ausgelassene Stimmung, dich mit anderen Erstsemestrigen zu vernetzen.

Wichtig für Master-Erstsemestrige und Internationals
Du startest mit einem Master an der BOKU? Dann bist auch du herzlich Willkommen bei der Begrüßung am Montag, es wird auch jeweils für mehrere Masterstudiengänge kombiniert Gruppen und Programm (in Deutsch oder Englisch je nach Bedarf) geben! Komme am besten zu der Begrüßung je nachdem, welche Studienvertretung für dich zuständig ist (siehe hier). Falls du hier jedoch auf Auslandsemester, vom Ausland kommend oder in einem internationalen Master bist, kannst du auch am 25.09. und die ganze Woche bei der Begrüßung und beim Programm für Internationals von der BOKU und dem Erasmus Student Network mitmachen. Bei einem reinen BOKU-Master empfehlen wir dir, eher bei unserem EST teilzunehmen.

Welcome to the first-semester students
On Monday, September 22, 2025, the official welcoming by the Rectorate and the chair team of the ÖH BOKU (students union at BOKU) will take place and the first week at BOKU will begin.

- 09:00: Landscape Planning and Landscape Architecture (LAp/LArch), Forestry (FW), Wood and Natural Fibre Technology (HNT)
- 10:00: Environmental and Bioresource Management (UBRM), Environmental Engineering (UIW)
- 11:00: Food Science and Biotechnology (LBT)
Attention: The welcoming for Agricultural Sciences (AW) will be held at 12:00 in lecture hall HS03 in the Willhelm Exner Building
After the welcome…
Get to know your new fellow students and come to the ÖH BOKU first-semester tutorial. An exciting week full of campus tours, excursions, events and insider tips await you and will enable you to have a successful start to life at BOKU! We therefore recommend that you keep the whole week free for the EST (September 22th – 26th).
To do this, register for the corresponding online course:
- Agricultural Sciences
- Forestry & Wood and Fibre Technology
- Landscape Architecture and Landscape Planning
- Food Science and Biotechnology
- Enviromental Sciences and Civil Engineering
- Enviroment and Bioresource Management
If you cannot find your course of study, you can check here which student representative represents your course. We will explain in detail how to register for the online courses in the email to you!
Bread and wine – that’s a must.
End your first day at BOKU with bread and wine and use the relaxed atmosphere to network with other first-semester students.

Important for first-semester master’s students and internationals
Are you starting a master’s degree at BOKU? Then you are also very welcome to join the introduction on Monday – however the welcome speech will be held in German for about 30min. Afterwards there will also be small groups with program (in German or English as needed) for several master’s degree programs combined! It is best to come to the welcoming, depending on which student representative is responsible for you (see here). However, if you are on a semester abroad, in your first-year from abroad or are doing an international master’s degree, you can also take part in the program for internationals from BOKU and the Erasmus Student Network on September 25th and all week long. If you are doing a pure BOKU master’s degree, we recommend that you take part in our tutorial.
